Shanna Crutchfield, Principal Consultant

For Shanna Crutchfield, racial equity work is more than a passion, or core value, it’s her life’s calling.

Shanna is a recognized change agent, racial equity consultant, and trainer, dedicated to centering race and advancing equity and social justice for disadvantaged communities. A community builder and gifted speaker/storyteller, Shanna brings 30 years of experience into her work helping organizations, businesses, nonprofits, government agencies and individuals across the country understand racism, bias and injustice, facilitate growth, dismantle institutional and structural racism and develop strategies for advancing racial equity.

A tireless advocate for continued improvement, Shanna brings her authenticity and heart into every interaction. She is adept at meeting people where they are, and inspiring them to deepen awareness and empathy—key ingredients for becoming the best version of ourselves and infusing the world with more humanity. Shanna is skilled at helping increase effectiveness in surfacing inequity within organizations—enabling sustainable, systemic transformation. This work happens through group workshops, individual coaching, mediation, collaborative systems analysis and implementation of equity, diversity and inclusion programs.

Facilitation & Mediation Services

Conflict resolution models include social justice and restorative justice mediation, and facilitation of courageous conversations that contribute to resolution of workplace conflicts with the intent to provide healing for all parties and teams. Mediation and facilitation spaces remove power and uplifts the voices of the those that have experienced oppression.

Racial Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Workshops

Workshops are designed and facilitated to engage participants in the examination of social, economic, cultural, and political influences that have contributed to historic and contemporary experiences of our diverse communities. Participants learn, apply strategies and tools to advance equity with a primary focus on the achievement of race and social justice in our society.

One-on-One Coaching Assistance

Coaching sessions for individuals provide a brave space for them to see themselves, define their purpose and goals, engage in strategic planning, and establish actions that help them to see what they want for themselves and others in the creation of limitless impacts for equity.
